Hello,
My name is Donn. I am the husband of a very godly wife and father to 5 wonderful kids. Sherry and I have been married for 18 years and enjoy each other more and more as the years go by. She has been an encouragement to me over the years and has been a faithful helpmate. She is my best friend and lover and I have enjoyed working and walking this road of parenthood with her.
My kids aren’t perfect, just like their father, but we can see how God has used them and continues to use them. As with all kids, they are each different. I am amazed at how God has used each of their personalities to develop grow even in my own life.
My goal for this site is to share with others what God has and is teaching me as well as in some small way to be an encourgement to others. Please feel free to provide feedback, comments, suggestions and your own thoughts on topics presented. I want this site to be a site where “iron sharpens iron”.

Hi Donn…
Great to see another dad committed to raising his children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. I’m right in the middle of that journey myself. My wife and I have 9 children ranging in age from 20 down to 3 weeks old.

Mike, thanks for your comments. It is always encouraging to here from other Dads that “get it” when it comes to training our children for the glory of God. I have taken a little time to review your blogs and hope to do more reading as time permits. It is an evil world out there and we must be diligent in the training of our children. I will be posting another post tomorrow and anticipate a couple more on the verses from Psalm 127.
